JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) — Below is the weekly MPB High School Football Poll voted on by media members in the Mississippi area.

Noxubee County’s Darrell Robinson is a big reason why the Tigers break into the Top 5 of this week’s MPB Top 25.

Bruce plays Houston this Friday in a very big showdown(involving Others Receiving Votes.) My team(Ackerman Indians) just finished playing those two teams back-to-back and we lost to both in the final minute. So, I will have to give the ever-so-slight nod to the Trojans. In the coming weeks you’ll begin to see Ackerman appear in the Others Receiving Votes category. Caledonia visits here this week before we begin district play the final five weeks of regulation. Watch out for the Indians in the 2A playoffs. Last year we made it to the 3rd round before succumbing to West Bolivar. We have relatively the same team back this year.
