MSU Student Affairs Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI) It is a division that began 40 years ago to advocate for college students on campus.

Wednesday night, some of the founding fathers of Student Affairs at Mississippi State University are honored as the first to be inaugurated into the department’s hall of fame.

Two of the first four inductees were Robert L. Jones, who served as the first Student Affairs Vice President, and Bill Foster, the division’s longtime Asst. Vice President.

Roy H. Ruby, who succeeded Jones, and Harold B. Hall, the former Dean of Students were also recognized. Ruby, Foster and Hall are retired from MSU, while Jones retired from the University of Texas at Tyler.

All four hold emeriti status at MSU.
