Murder for Hire Scheme

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Bond has been revoked for a Fulton man suspected in a home burglary.

Thursday evening, Itawamba Sheriff’s Department arrested 43 year old Mathew Graham at his home on John Rankin Highway after they say, he conspired to have witnesses in the case killed.

Sheriff Chris Dickinson says, a second suspect was also arrested in connection to the conspiracy. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marshal’s Office arrested a second suspect in Tishomingo County who’s name is not being released. Law enforcement say, Graham tried to have witnesses killed and that money exchanged hands. Sheriff Dickinson says, the arrests were a result of tips provided by a MBI undercover investigation and confidential informants.

Originally Graham was out on bond for a July burglary of a Fairview area home.
