MUW Staff Makes Thanksgiving Baskets for Needy Residents

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Staff members at MUW are making sure their neighbors have a happy Thanksgiving.

The university’s staff council teamed up with the W Leadership to make baskets filled with everything to make a Thanksgiving meal.

After collecting items for the baskets, the group spent hours putting them together.

On Monday, they delivered the baskets to tenants in a nearby housing authority complex.

Staff members say they feel blessed to be able to help someone during the holidays.
