Myrtle Teacher Charged with Sex Crimes Against Minors

UNION CO., Miss. – (WCBI) A Union County man resigns from his teaching position after being charged with sex crimes involving minors.

Union County Deputies charged 29-year old Adam Coleman with two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes and one count of enticement of a child. Coleman has also resigned as a math teacher and assistant coach from Myrtle Attendance Center.

Deputies launched an investigation after tips were called in earlier this week. The female victims are reportedly younger than 18-years old, but older than 14-years old.

Coleman is being held in the Union County Jail on a $115, 000 bond.
