Video: NBA Player Hosts Turkey Give Away in Starkville

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Hundreds of Starkville families will have a turkey on the table for Christmas, thanks to a hometown hero.

NBA player and Travis Outlaw hosted a turkey give away Wednesday morning at the Starkville Sportsplex.

Six hundred turkeys were given away on a first come first served basis. People began lining up before 8 o’clock Wednesday morning.

Outlaw last played for the New York Knicks. This is the second year he has hosted the turkey giveaway.
