Nettleton Receives $40,000 Matching Grant for New Playground

NETTLETON, Miss. (WCBI) — The City of Nettleton was awarded a grant for a children’s playground.

The playground will be constructed at the new Veterans Memorial Park that was recently constructed.

The 50/50 matching grant with in kind services was awarded from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks.

The total project is estimated to cost about $40,176.

Nettleton does not currently have a children’s park.
