New Albany Juveniles Arrested on Burglary, Vandalism

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) – Three juveniles have been arrested in two unrelated cases of burglary and vandalism.

New Albany Police made an arrested in connection to a break-in at the New Albany Middle School. The security system, door locks and cameras were the most expensive items damaged in the school break-in.

The damage at the school is estimated to be at least $1,500.

Two juveniles have been charged with burglary in connection with this case.

The vandalism incident occurred at Union Appliance, Henson Distributing and J.A. Bayers Garage.

Broken glass was reported at Union Appliance, while vehicular damage was documented at both Henson Distributing and J.A. Bayers Garage.

The damage in the vandalism case is estimated to be at least $5,000.

One juvenile has been charged with vandalism in connection to this crime.

Hearings for all three juveniles is set to be held in youth court.
