New Albany Will Soon Sell Wine and Liquor

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI)-Officials in New Albany will begin mapping out their plan of action soon; for rules and regulations regarding the newly passed ordinance allowing for the sale of liquor and wine.

The ordinance passed last night with 1,217 votes for and 190 votes against.

Actual wine and liquor sales will not be legal until the Board of Aldermen pass an ordinance setting the parameters.

No special meetings have been announced.

The Mayor and Alderman plan to meet on their regularly scheduled meeting in April.
