Video: New Debris Grants for Winston, Louisville

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — More state and federal money is heading to Louisville and Winston County.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is giving Louisville and Winston County more than $3.9 Million to help pay for the cost of removing debris from the devastating April tornadoes. The city will get $2.17 Million while Winston County is looking at a $2.7 Million grant.

Those two grants will cover 80 percent of the costs. The state is pitching in to cover the rest of the estimated $4.5 Million price tag for hauling away storm debris.
