New Site Man Dies in Prentiss County Accident

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. — A New Site man has died from injuries sustained in a late Monday evening, one-vehicle accident in Prentiss County.

The crash occurred Monday, at approximately 9:00 p.m., on Highway 4, near Siloam Road in the New Site Community.

Upon arriving, it appeared 41-year old Ivan Nash was traveling east in a 1996 Dodge Dakota, when he apparently lost control, left the roadway, and collided into a tree.

Nash was taken to the MED in Memphis where he died Tuesday morning.

Two other passengers were injured in the crash but their injuries were not life threating.

The crash remains under investigation.
