EUPORA, Miss. (WCBI) — Students at Eupora High School won’t have class Monday, after a fire caused major damage to the building over the weekend.

Firefighters had the blaze under control in 30 minutes late Saturday morning, but two rooms at the high school were still destroyed.

15 others had smoke damage.

Those classrooms are off limits for now until officials can assess the damage.

Superintendent Jack Treloar tells WCBI school officials will get together Monday to see if the high school students will be able to return, Tuesday.
