Nominate Your Employer

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) – The men and women of the Mississippi National Guard and Reserve units have a chance to nominate their supportive civilian employer for a 2013 prestigious Department of Defense award.

A military chaplain and pastor at Crystal Springs even nominated his church last year.

Jack Wallace, State Chairman of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves is encouraging men and women in uniform to submit the name of their employer for the coveted Freedom Award, our nation’s highest recognition for those supporting military personnel.

“And are very very good about holding the jobs and protecting the jobs. And to put you back to work if you are deployed as if you never left. So we are quite proud of the employers nationwide. In particular Mississippi. You can’t beat em,” said Jack Wallace, Chairman, ESGR.

The Nomination period began November First and runs through January 31st.
