Noxubee County Man Charged, Arrested for Allegedly Killing 2 Horses

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Noxubee County man has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing two horses.

20-year-old Keondre Oliver has been charged with two counts of animal killing or injuries.

The alleged incident occurred last week in Shuqualak on Dunn Road. The owner of the horses came home from work and found one horse dead in the road, the other dead on the side of the road.

The owner said last week’s incident was not the first time his horses have been shot.

Oliver is out of jail on a $4,000 bond.
