NoxubeeTrash Is Changing Hands

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-Noxubee residents will no longer see county workers picking up their trash. The Noxubee County Board of Supervisors have turned garbage collections over to “Waste Pro” a national company that works out of Columbus. The new deal will take effect November 1st. The county will pay Waste Pro $12.75 per resident per week for once a week pickup. Waste Pro is also currently working a deal with the city’s of Brooksville and Shuqualak who currently use the county to service waste needs.
