Ole Miss Opens Food Bank for Holiday Season

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — Sometimes people are in need where you least expect it. That’s why the University of Mississippi Food Bank is open during the holiday break.

Volunteers will be available to serve Ole Miss employees or students.

Organizers say canned food and cereals are available, along with some frozen items. Hygiene products and bottled water can also be picked up over the break.

The food bank is open to faculty, staff and students, regardless of income.

Now in it’s third year, the University of Mississippi Food Bank operates with donations from the community. The Food Bank is located in Kinard Hall, Room 213 at 207 Rebel Drive.
