MSU Welcomes First Year Students

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Anyone who has ever been to college knows university life is very different from high school.

Orientation sessions help make that transition as smooth as possible.

This Summer, Mississippi State is welcoming the latest generation of students, and parents, into the Bulldog family.

Incoming freshmen can learn about the myriad of activities available at MSU and register for their Fall classes.

Mississippi State Director of Orientation Lindsey Storey says, “When a person leaves orientation, it’s not unlikely for them to come up and say, ‘ We feel so good about our children’s decision to attend Mississippi State. I feel like I can leave them here, and they are in good hands.’ Everything is going to be take care of.”

Orientation sessions will last for the next 2 weeks.
