OSERVS Hosted Blood Drive

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — January is blood donor month and Oktibbeha County/Starkville OSERVS is making sure potential donors have a chance to give the gift of life.

The familiar United Blood Services of Tupelo’s Bloodmobile was parked today (Thursday) at the OSERVS Office on Highway 25. With a goal of 30 units, OSERVS Representative Hildred Deese says they are hoping to replenish blood supply from holiday accidents and other tragedies.

One donation can effect the lives of at least three people. All donated blood stays in Mississippi where it is used locally. OSERVS makes blood donations possible once every three months in Starkville.
