ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — An outside judge will have to be named before a dispute between two Aberdeen city officials can go to court.

In June, Aberdeen Codes Director David Low signed Justice Court affidavits against Police Chief Henry Randle for allegedly interfering with and threatening him during a building inspection.

Monroe County’s three justice court judges recused themselves over potential conflicts.

The state has yet to name a substitute judge.

Low claims he was inspecting the old skating rink in Aberdeen when Randle threatened him. Randle denies the claims.
