Pack Your Cowbells For Miami

MIAMI – Mississippi State fans traveling to the Capital One Orange Bowl will be permitted to ring their cowbells inside Sun Life Stadium on gameday, the MSU Athletic Department announced Tuesday.

Fans will have to adhere to the Southeastern Conference policy and ring responsibly. Ringing is not allowed from the time the offensive center is over the football until the play is whistled dead.

“We appreciate the Capital One Orange Bowl allowing our fans to continue a timeless Mississippi State tradition at this year’s game,” said MSU Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin. “Our fans did a wonderful job this season with cowbell compliance, and I know they’ll exhibit the same as a show of appreciation to the Orange Bowl.”

No. 7 Mississippi State and No. 12 Georgia Tech square off in the 2014 Capital One Orange Bowl on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 7:10 p.m. CT live on ESPN.

Tickets for the Capital One Orange Bowl are on sale now through HailState.com or by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS.
