A FROST ADVISORY has been issued for areas along and north of a line from Amory to Oxford tonight. It will be in effect from 3 a.m. until 8 a.m. Low lying and sheltered spots will be the most susceptible to frost if it happens to form. Overnight low temperatures across our area will range from the mid 30s to the low 40s.
Bright and sunny skies will finally return on Tuesday. Temperatures will warm back up to around 70 but that’s still about 8 degrees below average. Frost will not be a concern Tuesday night as overnight lows are expected to be only in the upper 40s and low 50s.
A weak cold front will cross our area Wednesday morning but it will be moisture starved. Temperatures by Wednesday afternoon should be in the mid 70s.
