Younger reported more than $5,000 in contributions since his previous report in mid-November, including $500 from the State Farm PAC in mid-December. Patrick is a retired State Farm agent.
Younger took office in late December, filling the remaining year on the term of state Sen. Terry Brown, who died in September after a year-long battle with cancer-related illnesses. He already has qualified to run for re-election this year in the new District 17, which gives up part of Lowndes County and stretches up to the southeastern half of Monroe County.
