Children from First Baptist Daycare in West Point deliver supplies to the East Mississippi Community College 18-wheeler, which was parked in front of Lyon Insurance in West Point all day Friday. The donated supplies were taken to Louisville Friday evening for those affected by the April 28 tornado. Students, staff and faculty from EMCC’s Scooba campus also gathered supplies and donations Friday to send to Louisville in a separate trip.

Students, staff and faculty at East Mississippi Community College’s Scooba campus collected supplies and donations Friday to send to Louisville for those affected by the April 28 tornado. EMCC also parked its 18-wheeler in front of Lyon Insurance in West Point all day Friday to collect supplies in conjunction with the United Way of Clay County and delivered those supplies Friday evening.

EMCC worked with the United Way of Clay County to fill the truck before pulling out for Louisville Friday evening. Students, staff and faculty from EMCC’s Scooba campus also gathered supplies and donations Friday to send to Louisville in a separate trip.
