BELMONT, Miss. (WCBI) – 200 new jobs should be coming to Belmont over the next 3 years.
Comfort Revolution cut the ribbon on its new plant Monday (1-14) morning.
They are moving into the massive facility that was once home of Schnadig Furniture.
Comfort Revolution specializes in high-end mattresses, toppers and pillows.
The Mississippi Development Authority and Tishomingo County both assisted on the project.
Comfort Revolution CEO Michael Fux says, “I like the people’s attitude. I like their honesty. I like the fact that they are hard working, and that they show up to work when they are supposed to and they really care for the business (that) they are working for and how my first choice was Mississippi before I went anywhere else.”
District 5 Supervisor Greg Collier says, ” This is a humongous boost in the arm for Tishomingo County and especially because we lost so many jobs in the last 10-15 years that this is really going to bring us back to life.”
The plant will manufacture products under the Sealy and Comfort Revolution brand names.
