Plantersville Voters Fill Vacant Board of Aldermen Seat

PLANTERSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Voters in Plantersville went to the polls Tuesday to fill a vacancy on the town’s Board of Aldermen. Shelton Shannon and Charlotte Diggs were facing each other in a run-off. Shannon received twice as many votes as Diggs, winning the seat 185 – 90. Shannon will be sworn in at Town Hall Friday Morning.

Shannon fills the seat left vacant when Ketrick Marion resigned in February.
