Police Expect to File Charges After Baby Left in Storage Unit

HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) — Houston police continue to look into why a baby was left in a storage unit behind a home Friday night.

But Chief Billy Voyles tells WCBI they need more answers, and investigators still have to talk to the boy’s mother once she’s out of the hospital.

WCBI was told family members say the baby is doing fine.

He’s recovering at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.

Voyles says they expect to file charges once the mother is released from the hospital.
