Police Suspect a Ring Leader in Break-ins in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI)-Three juveniles have been apprehended in relation to what Aberdeen Police believe is small part of a bigger ring of break-ins.

According to authorities the three juveniles were arrested on Christmas Eve following a break-in on Mockingbird Lane.

Police believe that the three minors are being lead by one main individual telling others what to do.

Authorities say several juveniles have been spotted surveying houses while riding their bicycles through neighborhoods.

More than 15 cases of breaking and entering have been reported in the last four weeks five of those occuring last week.

The three juveniles are remaining tight lipped on any information.

Aberdeen Police are asking that any suspicious behavior or any juveniles they see riding a bike taking pictures of homes or properties be reported immediately.
