Pontotoc Business Reports Possible Malicious Mischief

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Authorities are seeking assistance in a Pontotoc case of felony malicious mischief.

Baber’s Leasing in Pontotoc County last week reported to local authorities damage to its building’s awning, as well as a company-owned 2007 Ford Ranger.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered significant damage to the awning, citing the possibility someone climbed to the top and traversed the length of it. There was also significant damage inflicted upon the vehicle, which authorities say could have been caused by someone kicking it.

The incidents reportedly occurred between July 22 and July 23.
