Video: Pontotoc County Meth Bust

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A major meth bust in Ponototoc County lands five people in jail and leads investigators to a stash of cars, boats, and weapons.

Pontotoc deputuies searched a home on Garret Creek Road last night and found six ounces of the drug ice.

Sheriff Leo Mask says they also found and confiscated seven cars, seven boats, about dozen weapons, and cash. “We have been doing an investigation and probably an on-going investigation and we executed a search warrant last night. we had a lot of weapons….more than you normally see when you go in.”

Among those arrested were Jasmin Herndon, 33, Benjamin Bramlett, 34, and Parker Chapman, 36. The names of two others were not released.

The suspects are facing a variety of charges including possession of meth and possession with intent to distribute.

More arrests are expected.
