Prentiss County Deputies Make Second Arrest in Grand Larceny Case

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — The brother of a man arrested last week for grand larceny now finds himself in jail, too.

Today, according to a press release provided by the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD), PCSD deputies arrested 57-year-old Booneville man Thomas Vester Hargett.

Hargett was charged with grand larceny for his alleged involvement in a trailer theft in the Jumpertown area which reportedly took place last week. His 52-year-old brother Keith Hargett was also arrested last week in connection with the same incident.

Per the release, Thomas Hargett allegedly fled the scene where Keith Hargett was arrested last week.

Thomas Hargett’s is currently behind bars on a $10,000 bond.
