Prentiss County Makes Arrest in Larceny Case

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) — On Saturday, May 17, Prentiss County sheriff’s deputies arrested William Edward Hurt,, 33, of 813 Ashland Road, Ripley, subsequent to an investigation into the theft of property from the Jumpertown area.

He was arrested near the intersection of County Road 7325 and Highway 4.

He was charged with possession of stolen property, Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) enhanced while in possession of a firearm.

Hurt’s bond was set at $10,000.
