Prentiss County Man Arrested on Meth-Related Charges

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Authorities arrested a Prentiss County man last week on meth-related charges.

47-year-old Wheeler resident Joseph “Joe” Moore was charged with possession of meth, conspiracy to possess, sell distribute or deliver meth and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Authorities seized four handguns and $719 cash.

Investigators say they are further investigating the case, and that more arrests could be possible.

Moore was on parole at the time of his arrest, and the Mississippi Department of Corrections has placed a hold on him.

Moore’s bond was set at $150,000.
