Video: Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department Makes Arrest in Trailer Burglaries

PRENTISS, Miss. (WCBI) — Prentiss County deputies make an arrest in a recent rash of trailer thefts.

27-year-old Gary Wayne Ward, also known as Bo, is now facing four counts of grand larceny.

The investigation began in mid February, when reports of thefts of trailers came pouring into the sheriff’s department.

Those reports didn’t stop until last Tuesday, with Ward’s arrest. He has similar charges pending against him in Lee County.

This is one of the stolen trailers that was found in a nearby scrapyard.

Several others have also been located, but they are four that have yet to be found.

While one of the trailers was recovered from a scrapyard, deputies are asking for your help finding the others.
