Tonight: Clouds will increase due to an approaching system to our west. Temperatures will plummet during the early overnight hours until the clouds increase heavily. Lows will reach the low 30s and winds will remain light out of the southeast.
New Years Eve: Skies will be mostly cloudy and highs will reach the lower 50s. A chance of a shower is possible during the daylight hours Monday. It’s the hours after sunset on New Years Eve that are promising to be wet and nasty. Most of our weather models still drag the bulk of rain into our viewing area just before midnight. Heavy rain looks to be the biggest concern.Lows will only drop into the 40s. Plan on wearing your rain attire, ringing in the new year and wringing out your clothes.
New Years Day will begin cloudy and rainy, but dry out by the evening hours. Highs will be in the lower 50s.
