Scattered rain showers will continue overnight with overcast skies and mild temperatures. Lows will only slip into the lower 60s.
The rain showers will finally taper off during the first half of our Friday. During the second half, variably cloudy skies may allow some folks to finally see the sun. Look for unseasonably warm highs in the lower 70s.
Our next good chance for rain returns on Sunday. Some computer forecast models are hinting at a big rainmaker. The threat of flash flooding and river flooding will be on the increase if heavy rain does indeed occur in our area.
