Sunday: Rain chances for this afternoon remain around 50% with heavy downpours possible. In the event of localized flooding, remember—Turn Around, Don’t Drown! Rain-cooled spots may find themselves in the mid 80s, whereas those who stay dry could push 90s.
Sunday Night: Showers and storms could continue into the evening, but they will taper off around or before 1 AM similar to Saturday night. Night-time low temperatures are back to normal in the low 70s.
Monday: A lower chance for showers and storms remains in place at around 30%. Similar story to previous days, as most likely chances will be in the afternoon and will diminish when evening rolls around. Gusty southeasterly winds could push 10-15 mph.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Not ruling out an afternoon storm or two this time of year, but we should be under mostly sunny skies by Tuesday. Temperatures will rise back into the 90s, and the humidity will make it feel even hotter. Lows will remain in the low 70s.
Thursday: Rain chances return at about 20%, typical weather for July. Beyond that, we will be under partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 90s. Again, humidity will play a factor and we could see Heat Indexes in the triple digits.
Heading into the Weekend: Rain chances increase again slightly to 30%, and high temperatures will drop to the lower 90s, just a degree or two cooler than previous days. Overall, it still appears to be a weekend worth looking forward to!
