Widespread rain has been seen across the WCBI viewing area this morning. Fortunately the tornado threat has been low, but several storms have brought damaging winds. Widespread rain will be seen through the early morning and come to an end from west to east. A Tornado Watch is in effect until 10 AM for Lamar, Pickens, and Marion in Alabama. However, it still looks like gusty winds will be the main threat.
Temperatures will fall into the 50s through the day, and some sun will try to mix in later this afternoon. A shower or two may develop this evening.
More sun is in the forecast for Thursday and Friday, and a shower chance returns to the forecast Saturday evening.
