Ramey earned All-SEC First Team honors for the second-consecutive season, also a feat never before accomplished by an MSU player.

“Chad is certainly deserving of all the accolades he has received,” Coach Clay Homan said of his senior. “To be the only player on our history to be All-SEC in three-consecutive years says it all. Chad has had a spectacular career at Mississippi State and his play has raised the bar for his teammates and future Bulldogs to come.”

All-SEC honors were chosen by the league’s head coaches, ties were not broken.

After turning in a 6-under-par 204 at last month’s SEC Championship, Ramey lowered his career-stroke average to 72.09 moving him past former-leader Alex Rocha’s 72.51.

Ramey and his Bulldog teammates will be in postseason action on May 15-17 for the Illinois Regional, from the Rich Harvest Farms course.
