Reform Going Wet

REFORM, AL (WCBI) –  One Alabama community is a step closer to being able to sell alcohol.

The Reform City Council will meet Tuesday night during its weekly meeting to accept a new ordinance that has been drafted allowing the sale of alcohol within the city limits. The vote is expected to pass without issue. Once voted upon the ordinance will be run in the local paper for two weeks to inform the public of the proposed changes. According to Reform Mayor Benny Harton, only four businesses have participated in the application process. He says he expects more to get involved.

The city council will meet at 7:00p.m. at City Hall.
