That said, Henderson is still expected to miss games this season as punishment for his offseason behavior that sources told CBSSports.com included multiple failed drug tests. Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork told USA Today’s Dan Wolken that the number of games Henderson will miss is yet to be determined.

Henderson was “indefintely suspended” on July 10 and hasn’t tweeted since July 11.

The Texas native — who averaged 20.1 points last season while leading Ole Miss to the Round of 32 of the NCAA tournament — is the reigning CBSSports.com SEC Player of the Year. Under normal circumstances, that would ensure his presence at next month’s SEC Media Days.

But Kennedy told CBSSports.com on Tuesday that the school hasn’t yet decided whether Henderson will attend the event in Alabama.
