Video: Salvation Army Catches Fire

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) – Flames rip through the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Jackson early Friday morning.

According to firefighters, the blaze broke out around 6:00a.m. and spread quickly through out the building.

Salvation Army Captain Ken Chapman says, that an employee is the one who notified the authorities after he heard a pop come from an electrical box.

Two butane gas tanks being stored in the building may have fueled the blaze.

Employees were able to salvage two forklifts. a feeding truck and another vehicle.

No one was injured in the fire.

The incident remains under investigation.
