Scattered showers and storms will be possible during the evening hours tonight through early Sunday morning. Hail, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall are possible with the strongest storms. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out especially along the HWY 82 corridor. We’ll continue to monitor things here closely as storms redevelop to our west. Temperatures will only fall into the low 60s.
Rain chances will continue Sunday morning but the overall trend will be for it to slide to our southeast Sunday afternoon. More 70s are in order as we close out the weekend.
Early next week should be drier and on the warm side but unsettled weather looks like it will return by Wednesday and Thursday. Recent data suggest a potential cool down just in time for Market Street in Columbus but it’s not set in stone just yet.
