We enjoyed a pretty nice Saturday around here. Temperatures were pleasant the humidity level was much, much lower than the last few days. Moisture will creep back tonight and there will be the risk for a few storms. It will be much warmer tonight with lows only in the upper 60s. We had upper 50s and low 60s Saturday morning.
Scattered showers and storms will be possible during our Sunday. A few of them may be around during the morning but I think they will become more prevalent during the heating of the day. Highs will be in the upper 80s and the wind will be from the south between 5 and 15 mph.
A cold front will move through Sunday night and Monday morning and that means the threat of rain & storms will continue. Drier air may return Monday afternoon which in turn may cut down on the volume of storms later in the day but we’ll just have to see how it goes. Highs will stay in the upper 80s.
The chance of rain looks fairly low during the middle of next week; however, low to mid 90s along with heat indices above 100 are expected for the first time this year.
