Round 1: Scattered showers and storms can be expected during the first half of our Saturday. The tropical airmass we’ve been in for several days will aid into the development of these showers. Some strong storms may develop northwest of the viewing area. Highs Saturday will climb into the lower 70s.
Saturday evening will be relatively dry. Most of the showers will be north of the viewing area by sunset. Unfortunately, even more rain will push in late Saturday evening…
Round 2: A cold front will slide into the viewing area early Sunday morning bringing greater chances of rain. Heavy rain up to 2 inches could produce flooding issues for much of the viewing area. Warm temperatures in the 60s early Sunday morning will fall into the 50s and 40s by Sunday afternoon.
Cold and chilly rain will continue into our Monday and should end by late Monday evening. Highs Monday will only be in the 40s.
As of right now, it looks like we’ll finally dry things out by Tuesday.
