Scattered showers will linger through Monday morning with mostly to partly cloudy skies. This afternoon, we expect rain-free conditions with some sun mixing in with the clouds. Highs today will top out in the low-mid 60s.
Christmas Day will bring mostly cloudy to overcast skies with rain developing during the day. As talked about in previous posts, the area with greatest chance for severe storms is along and south of I-20, but the WCBI viewing area is under a Slight Risk for severe weather. All modes look possible: damaging winds, hail, and tornadoes.
Some rain and possible flurries will linger for Wednesday morning. Don’t get your hopes up about snow. Far North Mississippi has the best chance to see flakes, and even if it does come down, it’s not going to stick.
Thursday is forecast to be a quiet day with a mix of sun and clouds and a high around 45.
