Showers Tonight, Warmer Late Week

Showers will continue to diminish during the night and low temperatures will bottom out in the mid 50s.  Cloud cover is expected to be extensive on Wednesday and a few showers my linger, especially during the first half of the day.  Keep your fingers crossed that some breaks will develop by the afternoon.  Highs will be in the low to mid 60s.

Thursday & Friday look reasonably dry at this point but don’t be surprise to see a shower or two, especially if you live in the northwestern part of our area.  Highs will stay in the 70 degree range.  Much the same kind of weather can be expected for the weekend but low to mid 70s appear more likely.

The next major threat for rain and storms will be either Monday or Tuesday of next week. There is still a lot of uncertainty with our computer models but the threat of at least some severe weather remains on the table.  We’ll keep you updated later this week.
