Sitel Adding 300 Jobs at Hamilton, Ala. Operation

HAMILTON, Ala. — Sitel, a leading global customer care provider, today announced it is actively expanding its customer care call center in Hamilton, Alabama. This will entail hiring 300 positions to support expansion by its client, a leading digital cable, HDTV, DVR, high-speed internet and local and long-distance phone provider. The newly hired associates will provide inbound customer support.

“We are very excited about the growth of our business here at the Hamilton call center,” said John Thomas, Sitel’s Hamilton Site Director. “We have a great group of talented employees and look forward to bringing in additional personnel for our front-line, support and management positions. This expansion is evidence of Sitel’s continued commitment to both its clients and Hamilton and the surrounding counties.”

In an effort to recruit the 300 new employees, Sitel hosted an onsite job fair Thursday, October 16. Candidates can also apply online in Sitel’s “Careers” section at www.sitel.com. Previous customer service experience and strong computer knowledge are preferred.
