Snow Day At Columbus Lowndes Library

Columbus, Miss. (WCBI) — It was a snow day in Columbus today, that is at the Columbus Lowndes Library. The snow day event, kicked off at 1:30 and was filled with holiday cheer!

Over 80 children, wearing their favorite pajamas packed in for the reading event. The first 150 children received a free book provided by the Reading On The Road Program.

Face painting, story telling, crafts, and snacks are just some of the fun activities that were held. Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special appearance, and took pictures with all the boys and girls.
