About Will Simmons

Some Afternoon Clearing

Overcast skies will be the norm for Tuesday morning. In addition, there will be a few showers south of the Hwy 82 corridor and in West Alabama. Most of you will stay rain free, though.

By noon, we will see clouds decrease, starting in the northwest part of our viewing area (toward Oxford). The clearing line will move to the east through the afternoon. This means that a mix of sun and clouds should be seen be a lot of you before the sun sets. The farther toward I-55 that you live, you have a better chance at seeing mostly sunny skies late this afternoon.

Highs will stay in the 50s today. We’ll drop to the low 30s tonight.

Abundant sun will be seen Wednesday and Thursday, and a warming trend will ensue.

The weather team will be at Kroger in Starkville this Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Come out to get a weather radio or have yours programmed.
