South Panola outlasted Brandon High School in a wild game that gave the Tigers their 10th State Championship. South Panola was clinging to a 24-23 lead when they recovered a Brandon fumble with less than five minutes to go. They scored a touchdown on the ensuing drive that put them up 31-23 and were able to hold on for the win.
